Election of Pope Leo XIV

We have a new Pope!  Cardinal Robert Prevost has been elected as, POPE LEO XIV.

Pope Leo XIV was born in Chicago and dedicated many years to missionary work in Peru before being appointed head of the Dicastery for Bishops in 2023.
He has been known for his commitment to Pope Francis’s vision, particularly in areas of environmental stewardship, outreach to the poor, and support for migrants.
We pray that God grants him strength, wisdom, and a heart filled with compassion so that he may lead with humility and courage.
May God protect him from all harm and empower him to be a beacon of faith, hope, and love. And may his leadership foster unity and peace among people of all religions around the world.
